There are so many things to love about this wedding. I should start with the couple. They have been together for a while, so there is something about the easy way they relate to eachother that is so lovely. I will offer my personal vote for partnerships made legal after years of exploring the things life and world have to offer together. My husband and I were together for 8 years before we decided to make our partnership official and celebrate it with family and friends.
But there was a certain confidence and joy you could see and feel from C and J.
Now I should move on to the location. Gloucester, MA overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Cant ask for more. Right?

how bout asking for a surf board?

So many of the details were crafted with loving hands. The cupcake “cake” was made by a bridesmaid. The place markers were stones collected by the brides mother marked with the table numbers. The comedy was brought by the best man. People were laughing so hard chairs broke under the peals of laughter. Funniest best man speech I have ever heard.

Okay, may be I could ask for a motorcycle to ride past to add contrast to the wedding scene. I waited and waited with adjusted shutter speed for this shot….You could hear them coming.

A Bride a Groom a Horse and some Color| MA wedding photography
It was a day after a promised NorEaster was set to run through the area. But the blue skies were out in full force. And the fall colors too. The wind wanted to come for the festivities and decided to crash the wedding, but the place was prepared with blankets for the guests who got to witness L&N’s joining eachother in matrimony under the big sky overlooking a beautiful valley.

They Groom arrived on horseback amid fanfare and celebration.

You can see more of L&Ns day as captured by the Bring-The-Fun-Booth here

Start with beautiful day add fantastic couple and the fun shall follow | MA wedding photography
add location, folliage, happy guests, gusts of wind and a horse…(will try post more of that later)
Anyhow. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely couple. They were up for the fun and celebration sprinkled with traditions.

Below is a small representation of some of the fun the guests had in the Bring-the-Fun-Booth. I love doing these. It is such a great way for the bride and groom to capture all of the guests at the wedding being themselves.

Some messages they left

I hope to post more soon as I get through editing photos. There are a few more of the Bride and Groom on my Facebook Page. Like I mentioned, there was an entrance on a horse, some lovely henna, great setting at Fruitlands Museum and foliage, oh, the foliage…
All things to make a photographer giddy. Thank you L&N for choosing me to be there for such a great day!
