Ever so long ago

A few images from a wedding long past up in Massachusetts. I was 8 months pregnant with my first and waddling around trying to fit through doors with my belly and all my gear.
As per request, a few of for the couple to choose from. Had to dig into boxes with hard drives long stored away to find these. Can’t wait to photograph their almost 1 year old in a few weeks. How time flies!

Summers past collage.

A draft of a collage I am creating for a large print. These were such fun girls!

New Albums!

Yay! I finally had my new line of Flush Mount albums arrive. I have been really excited about working with this new album company. After spending all that time on creating, designing and laying out an album for a couple, I really wanted to have the final product to be as high quality and customizable as possible. I want them to reflect my client’s styles. Gone are the days of only having a plain black album to choose from (not that there is anything wrong with that!). IN are colors, textures, leathers, silks, near limitless combinations and great attitude. Can’t wait to work/play with this company more. You can see the layout of the inside of this book here.

These are all of a 10×10 album with a two tone leather choice, cut out inlaid photo cover and indented text.. Joe and Harley got married what feels like ages ago and I am kind of glad they waited until I partnered up with this new vendor. Now perhaps I will be inspired to create my own… When free time rains down on my side of Providence that is.

its a Wrap

One of the problems of being a photographer is that I have few actual prints of my family. Lots of images live on my computer, but I really have to work to get photos up on the wall. Something always takes precedence. The Gallery Wrap is something I have been offering to my clients for a while and love but never got around to creating some for our home. I so adore these photos of the kids and the cutest daddy I could find.

I like the dimensionality it gives to our living room wall. I also had one printed of Dunes during her first kite flying experience. I think I should have gone bigger.

oh baby

I love announcement cards. Babies this age make me smile on the inside. Sigh.
I don’t really remember designing Dunedin’s and Griffins announcement card. I do remember that I misspelled something important on her card and had to reorder (I will blame it on lack of sleep not my esteemed public elementary school) And Griffin’s card didn’t even make it to all the people on my list. I found a stack of un-mailed cards almost a year after his birth. It is hard to get things straight when you cant stop staring at the perfect little being you have created.
Not sure which of these cards I like best.
