Sometimes rain and photography mix well. Below is one of my favorite flowers, the poppy during a bit of rain we had in VT over the last weekend.

Shot with the Canon 5d Mark ii at 1600 ISO at 8pm. Handheld without a tripod at 2.8 and 1/60th. Otherwise it would have been sharper. What a difference a little full frame camera can make. Rain, rain go away no more. Get out there and shoot!

wow, that’s so beautiful! did you change the background or where does the blue come from?
And btw, the last blog about Griffin was great! I think Leo and he are growing up on different planets (mommy, I need to wash my hands… this smells… that’s yucky…)
Fiona is much more along his lines…
I played with the white balance in the camera to get that blue.
Dunes is also rather particular, but once she gets a little dirty it is all on for her. Griffin could care less about dirt, marker, pen, food, chocolate, oil, mud (I could keep going, but you likely get the point) if it gets on him.
You could totally make art prints- look at how beautiful this photo is! Scituate Art Festival is coming up…
