And just like that, the dog days of summer have come to an end. We celebrated 2009’s summer’s demise in Vermont with some friends, 2 legged and 4.
Here sits Emmit, proud NYC dog, acting as tough as he can with our “Wildlife” stamping at his heals.

Dunedin spend a good part of this evening asking after her friend Emmit. She would never get this close to a human she had met in just one weekend, but had no problem sidling up to this canine variety.


Zander and Griffin determined to get in on the cuteness. I need to point out that my son (I swell with pride at the thought of this) brought out this chair when he saw us taking photos outside. A son who knows how to please his photographer mommy.
